Peripherals manufacturer Razer has reportedly bought Ouya, the company that makes the crowdfunded Android console of the same name.
Last month, we received reports that Ouya had put itself up for sale after falling foul of one of its debtors. Today, Liliputing spotted that the investment bank that was supposedly organising the sale, Mesa Global, announced that Razer had bought Ouya (though that announcement has since been pulled).
Purchasing Ouya wouldn't just give Razer control of the console, its peripherals, and its patents but also its game library, which has grown to include more than 1,000 titles.
We've contacted both Razer and Ouya to confirm the purchase.
