Sony is preparing to shut its PlayStation Mobile Store after less than three years. Content will no longer be available after July 15, although you'll be able to download any content you might have bought via a temporary replacement service that will also end on September 10, 2015.
The service launched in October 2012 enabling people to download a range of 'PS Certified' games and apps to similarly certified devices, mainly Android platforms and Vita. It was an attempt by Sony to provide App Store/Google Play style content but never really took off. Partly because it was built almost exclusively on paid for, premium content just as the mobile world went free-to-play.
