Dying Light's Disc Release Puts it at Number One in the UK

Dying Light's finally had a physical release after its delay, and hit number one in the UK game charts as a result.

The physical version of the game was delayed until February 27th, and it just goes to show how much of a sway retail discs still have over downloads. Especially on consoles where the crazy prices basically make digital a no-go for most.

Last week's number one The Order drops to number four, with a 56 per cent drop in sales week-on-week. While the other recent big release, Evolve, sees a sales drop of 54 per cent and slips to eight.

Here's the top ten, week ending February 28th:

1. Dying Light, Warner Bros
2. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Activision Blizzard
3. Dragon Ball Xenoverse, Bandai Namco
4. The Order 1886, Sony
5. Grand Theft Auto V, Rockstar
6. FIFA 15, EA
7. Far Cry 4, Ubisoft
8. Evolve, 2K Games
9. Minecraft: Xbox Edition, Microsoft
10. Minecraft: PlayStation Edition, Sony
