The Bear From Danganronpa is Looking After The Elderly in Japan

It looks like Monokuma, the murderous teddy from Danganronpa, is moonlighting as a robot designed to care for the elderly in Japan.

Meet Robear, he's the work of a Japanese research group called Riken, and designed to help care for the country's growing elderly population. Apparently he's got "smart Rubber tactile sensors that give it a softer and more responsive touch" than previous models. Presumably to help prevent any accidental 'crush puny humans' incidents. They always go down badly in healthcare.
